Les Ballets Grandiva is an all male comedy ballet company, one of only a handful in the world. At 10 years old, it is the newest and also the largest company of its kind in the world Founded by current director Victor Trevino, there has 20 plus dancers and over 30 active ballets and 50 total ballets in the repertoire. Television appearances have reached over 30 million viewers. Grandiva performed at the Shanghai Grand Theater in 2001marking the first time a Male Comedy Ballet Company performed in such an important theater in a China. It was an honor and a great opportunity for cultural exchange. Other critically acclaimed tours besides China include USA, Japan, France, Italy, South Korea, and Europe. Articles on the company have appeared in Russia, Spain and many of the most prestigious dance publications in the United States, Europe and Asia including a cover picture and article in Dance Magazine. Also Grandiva has been featured extensively on Japanese, Korean and Chinese television as well as major tv specials in Europe and the USA. This is Grandiva's 11th season with tours to Asia, Europe, Australia and New Zealand on the Men in Tutus tour.
